Kayt is the founder and teacher of Forest Friends. As a stay-at-home mom of two girls, she started the class after spending countless days outside crafting and exploring with her own children. A botanical dyer and artist, she's passionate about inspiring creativity and a love for the outdoors.

Forest Friends is a nature-based art and play class for toddlers and young children, designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and a love for the outdoors. Each session blends hands-on nature crafts, sensory exploration, and free play, allowing kids to connect with the natural world in a fun and engaging way.
I started Forest Friends because I wanted my own children, Stella Bea and Indie Moon, to grow up exploring, creating, and getting messy outside—just like I did. I believe in the magic of childhood spent in nature, and I wanted to create a space where other families could experience that too.
